Dear Sisters and Brothers around the World means Dear Anarchists both female and male around the World!
Whether living in Germany, U.S.A., Kongo, Japan or wherever else - real Anarchists are Sisters and Brothers worldwide, we don´t know another measure for human beings than only one: Righteous and reasonable, then she or he is an Anarchist, or if not, then we must make her or him to be an Anarchist. That is the natural measure, it doesn´t matter which colour, whether little or large, whether a good mathematician or not, wheter aestehtically looking or not, whether young or old and so on.
Every other measure than ours makes us frustrated and ill, every single person as the whole society, too.
The only natural measure of evaluating persons is according to the fact that we all are living on the same planet, and whatever You do, whatever I do, it will give an effect to all of us and to the whole world. We all are sitting in the same boat, from the South Pole to the North Pole, from Japan to Los Angeles using the way westwards.
So I want to speak to You as Sisters and Brothers, whatever Your colour and nationality should be, everone of You standing eye to eye with me,on the same level. Introducing myself there is one word to say: I am a proud German Anarchist. Not proud to be a German, there is no reason to be proud to be a German, and I cannot remember having anything done to get a German, cannot remember a situation having been asked: "Do You want to be born as a German, or would You prefer to be born as an Indian or whatever else?" I am only proud to be an Anarchist, and that it is my decision to fight for real justice and real reason. So in the sum I am a proud German, because I am an Anarchist who is a German by coincidence.
So You should not say: "He is a German!" You should see me as an Anarchist only.
In Germany the Ghost of Anarchy has made progresses in the last years, and I am proud to be one of us who have worked for that. And the situation is, that we would like to tell You about the progresses of Anarchy in Germany, to get Your critics and to let You know for Your and our all use.
We Anarchists of Germany are decided to make the World anarchic and to rescue mankind from otherwise unavoidable destruction. Not alone, but in community with all other human beings, step by step making all people to our sisters and brothers. First we would like to win You for going that way with us, and so I, as a speaker of German Anarchists in Austria as in FRG, would like to talk to You, to tell You, what our Ideas are, to get Your critics and to explain why we think that there are two things necessary for our all sake: We must bundle our resources and fight together, and, there are really good reasons to do so, we should fight for Anarchy in Germany first, and then roll up the world by giving an example that makes Anarchy irresistible to all other nations.
Up to now I have written only some words in English, You see, my English is not the best, but I am not fighting for Anarchy to be ashamed because of my deficiencies for the rest of my life. I think You will understand my words and only that should matter.
So I beg You by the name of German Anarchists to read my words and to spread this messages as good as You can, so that I can explain our goals and our plans and our strategy to You, hoping You will fight and win with us for the sake of the whole World!
The adresses I will write to You in English (hmm... let´s say in a louzy English...) are
first:
http://freegermany.forumandco.com/to-all-anarchists-means-to-our-sisters-and-brothers-f29/
http://winfriedSobottka.npage.de
(there You have to look at the navigation, I will found a special site with the Name "To our Sisters and Brothers in the World!"
Using:
http://freegermany.forumandco.com/
You will see an entry beginning with "The SS is still alive..." that can give You a first impression of our problems in Austria and FRG.
Please, give the best to spread this messages, and those of you who use registration will be able to answer to my words to You under freegermany.forumandco.com.
Your all
Winfried Sobottka
PS.: Those of You being able to read German language will find more - I was forced to use US-registered Domains because of worst political pression in Germany!

Your show was very good. I enjoyed it live. The selection of songs moved the set right through. The two guitars worked well together and so did the harmonies. can't wait for more.

Really nice to hear acoustic guitar music like this; orginal stuff--the two guitars seem to complement each other well. Like to hear Garth sing some more!!

Hang in there, dude. I totally can relate. I am Solo/Acoustic now. Just couldnt keep my finger in that dike any longer.
Full speed ahead... ACOUSTIC.
I miss playing those searing Guitar leads.
I miss singing at rthe top of my lungs.
I miss having band mates.
I miss getting 5 hour long gigs with packed dance floors.
I dont miss trying to get everyone together to practice. On my own, I play ALMOST every single day.
I dont miss cking WHO can make a gig when I am offered one, I just book it.
I dont miss loading in & out and driving to practice, I just stay set up in my home studio, and go for it any moment the urge strikes me.
I dont miss having to teach my new songs to others, or showing them changes I made to other songs. I just play however it feels right at the moment, because sometimes songs evolve and I like that.
THE WORST PART: I miss jammin' with other musicians. Damn, I LOVE THAT. Sharin' tunes/music is an awesome experience. So, I have been jammin' with lots of different people. Meeting new friends, finding other musicians as hungry to play as I. They are out there, dude. Not everyone is in the "Sonoma Coma" mode. Just keep on playin' and keep on sharing your music. Acoustic, Electric, Solo, Band Style, WHATEVER IT TAKES.
P.S. Come join me at the Coffee Bazaar some Thursday. LETS JAM!

Good luck in your endeavors. New band members are always a challenge. But, YOU Rock, so surely, somebody will step up. We know how it feels. We are going to be auditioning Rythmn Guitarists soon. Whoever we find, it will be a new experirnce. But, hey, this is the stuff that inspires new songs. So, ROCK ON to Michael & Garth...and whoever the lucky new guitarist is. Thanks for keeping us posted.

hey Maij-
it's so good to see you owning your destiny and paving your path!
i've been jamming with a college homie named jeff d. what started out as impromptu jam sessions organically turned into the big house project. jeff plays guitar, hand drums, a lil bass, and he's writing some cool material. he reminds me of robert hunter, the dead's main lyricist, because his voice is mediocre at best but his penchance for catchy/deep lyrics are on the money. overall, he's a quick learner but i see this duo as being more of a stepping stone towards other projects.
since i'm having to develop as a lead player, this set is giving me an opportunity to build melodies and harmonies into my routine. eventually, i can see becoming as technically advanced as you or (dare i dream)quinn but for now, well, we work with what we got babe!
hey take care, know that your influence and friendship have made a profound impact upon my music and my life.

I started recording a CD of songs I've written a little over a year ago and it's really really close to being completely finished, which is very excited since it's only a matter of months before it's ready for distribution. I'll let you all know how to get a copy for yourself when it's done. I'm also currently plating in a rock band called the Authority and am gigging regularly. So that's about it for me right now, short and sweet, I hope to hear from you all at ! some point. Take Care.
